EDUMANNA is a term we use to visualize the quality of innovation and expertise a teacher can bring into teaching; based on his knowledge and experience in his subject area. As a teacher, your edumanna is supposed to be nutritious, garnished and palatable for students to want more. This is why our teaching acts, skills and methods must always be reinvented to catch up with the fast and growing pace at which other forms of learning (informal) are being presented to our students. If we don’t join in this competition, we may soon become obsolete to their fancy and loose them to a world of the unknown where learning seems to be more interesting.
Besides, when a teacher edumanna makes a student choke in an exam hall while another student is belching out of satisfaction and much intake of knowledge from another teacher’s edumanna; someone needs to ask this question: WHAT WENT WRONG?
